Regular control and certified production
The production of the Berolina Liner for the worldwide market is certified to EN ISO 9001:2015 and is externally monitored on a regular basis. The BKP Berolina products are approved in numerous countries, in compliance with the relevant national standards. In Germany the type approval is issued by the “Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik” (DIBt). Yet not only the production, but also the installation of the liner is subject to comprehensive quality control, for example, by camera-assisted video recording during and after curing. All installation steps can be documented electronically using special software.
How we test our products
The performance of our GRP liner has already been proven externally by 10,000 hours of tests; HP flushing tests to the Hamburg Model (60 flushing operations), water penetration test (CP308), as well as other tests with outstanding results. To assure our quality standards are maintained at a high level, we perform detailed checks on each production batch before they are delivered. These checks begin with monitoring the raw materials delivered to us and continuous visual inspection and online testing of the liner by our trained production personnel and quality assurance personnel during production. Before curing a test sample taken from the current production line, the Berolina Liner is examined for criteria such as dimensional stability, impregnation quality and viscosity of the resin. The Berolina Liner is cured practically by means of a UV light source.

The most important test criteria
- Leak test according to EN 1610
- Measurement of the wall thickness
- Measurement of the initial ring stiffness according to DIN 53769, Part 3
- Measurement of the resin content
- 3-point bending test according to ISO 178
- Barcol hardness
