Mainova: Carbon for the Frankfurt underground

Mainova AG’s district heating pipelines at Untermainkai in Frankfurt am Main have been in operation for over 40 years. They have now been renovated without trenches on two sections using the CarboSeal® district heating liner. It could contribute a small part to the “Frankfurt heating transition” announced by Mainova.

The cancellation of IFAT 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic by the operators of Messe München is understandable and is fully supported by BKP Berolina. The BKP Berolina partner meeting in Dresden, which was planned in advance of the IFAT, is also canceled.

Training success on the Volga

For the first time BKP Berolina delivered liners to Cheboksary, Russia. Three application technicians trained and guided the new crew and installed two Berolina-Liners DN 1,000, 11 mm with a length of 120 to 140 meters.
