Daniel Will joins BKP Berolina as CTO

About usWelcome Daniel Will

BKP Berolina Polyester GmbH & Co. KG is pleased to announce that Daniel Will will join the company as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) starting July 1, 2025. With him, one of the most respected technical figures in the trenchless pipe rehabilitation industry is joining the team. Will brings over two decades of experience in the development, production, and international marketing of UV-cured GRP liners – expertise that will play a key role in driving BKP’s technological advancement.

“I am extremely pleased that we were able to bring Daniel Will on board – one of the industry’s leading forces and that I get to work with him again after our time together at Impreg,” said Thomas Christiansen, CEO of BKP Berolina. “We have an ambitious plan: by 2026, we aim to launch a new generation of liners. We are confident that Daniel Will’s comprehensive expertise will make a decisive contribution to this goal.”

Will has an impressive career background. For more than 20 years, he worked at the Impreg Group, holding roles in production management, quality assurance, data analysis, and the international establishment of new sites. In 2009, he joined the management team and later became technical director, responsible for key innovation projects.

“After more than two decades in my previous professional home, it was time for me to take a new path,” said Daniel Will. “I am very excited to now be part of the BKP team – a company that has been setting standards in trenchless sewer rehabilitation for years.”

“The market is changing rapidly, with increasing demands for quality, sustainability, and efficiency. This is exactly where I want to contribute: together with BKP, I will work on developing a new generation of liners – innovative, future-proof, and market-oriented.”

Thomas Christiansen added: “With Daniel Will and Lars Quernheim, we are bringing together two of the industry’s leading technical minds at BKP. Both will serve at the same executive level, aiming to benefit from each other and complement one another.”

Lars Quernheim, COO of BKP Berolina, is also looking forward to the collaboration: “I have valued Daniel Will both professionally and personally for many years. The opportunity to work together on product development opens enormous potential – not just for us, but especially for our customers.”

Quernheim continued: “Our industry faces major technological challenges, including rising quality standards and resource-efficient production. Daniel brings a rare combination of deep product knowledge and a keen understanding of market requirements.”

By appointing Daniel Will, BKP Berolina sends a strong signal of its commitment to technological progress and to actively shaping innovative solutions in the field of UV-cured GRP liners.
